Every site and garden is different, and that is reflected in the services I provide and fees I charge.

Design Phase

The design process begins with a client consultation: We walk the property together and discuss possibilities and challenges for the proposed site.  I listen and have deep respect for a client’s needs, vision and budget.  The client should think about how the space will be used – for entertaining, for play, for growing vegetables?  Once we identify goals, I complete a thorough site analysis to measure, photograph and understand the space, and how it connects with the surrounding area.  This is followed with completion of a comprehensive master plan and cost estimate for installation.
 
Full Landscape Master Plan includes:

Plantings (primarily using plants native to the mid-Atlantic region and edibles)
Drainage solutions
Walkways, steps and patios
Retaining walls

Installation Phase

When plans are completed, my crew will install the approved landscape.  I supervise every phase of work on the site, from grading and soil preparation to planting and site cleanup.  This ensures accurate, efficient installation and high-quality workmanship from start to finish.
